A worrying number of US residents do not know how chocolate milk is produced, writes Independent.
Even 48 percent of Americans do not know how chocolate milk is made. According to a survey by the US Dairy Center for Innovation. It is about 16.4 million people, which is more than the total Ohio population.
If this information is pessimistic, it goes even worse. Almost 10 percent of US residents think that chocolate milk comes brown cows.
The authors of the survey point out that it is not a matter of children. 1,000 people over 18 years of age participated in the survey.
This is not the first study that has produced worrying results. A previous study also found that nearly 20 percent of Americans do not know that a hamburger is made from beef.
