Dandelion usually grows in lawns, meadows, parks, along with the paths and living fences. It is a medicinal herb that is eaten and found everywhere. Dandelion is a very useful herb for tea, salads, juices, stews, soups. As the healing parts of the plant, the root, the leaf, and the flower are collected.

Chemical composition: The active medicinal substances dandelion contains bitter substances (sesquiterpene lactones), a lot of potassium in the above-ground part, resin, essential oil, 40 percent inulin in the root. Preparation of Tea:

Tea is usually prepared from a dry rooted root. Add one tablespoon of root to 2 dl of water, boil for a few minutes in low heat, drain after 15 minutes and drink during the day unburdened, or better still, softened with real home-made honey.
