Coconut butter is often found commercially as a sunscreen. Most often combined with carrots to give a beautiful and bronze complexion. However, caution should be exercised as coconut butter does not protect against harmful UV radiation!
You can also use butter to treat dry and chapped hair by applying it to your hair before washing and letting it work for ten minutes. The hair will be lush, healthier and shinier after rinsing.

Coconut butter and oil are obtained by pressing the coconut fruit. Butter melts at temperatures above 25 degrees and becomes an oil that can be used in cooking as a substitute for classic oils, such as pancakes.
Coconut butter carries a high content of saturated fatty acids, which is why it should be consumed moderately to reduce the risk of heart disease and blood vessels.
The maximum intake of saturated fat per day is 16 to 22 g, equivalent to 2.5 tablespoons of coconut butter.
Some studies show that the high concentration of lauric acid, which is one of the saturated fatty acids in coconut butter, could even reduce the concentration of “bad” cholesterol in the blood, but these studies are incomplete and not many.
Because of its excellent taste, it can be used as a bread spread and is most commonly used in the preparation of cakes and other sweets as a substitute for regular butter.

- Make the coconut flour in a blender.
- Add a little liquid such as water, milk or coconut oil.
- Blend until a thick creamy mixture is obtained.
