Fruit juices have received a lot of bad press over the past few years, claiming that they are full of sugar and should be consumed in moderation. Well, this is the case for most foods: everything should be consumed in moderation, so keep this in mind when juicing every day. If you have a sweet tooth or are borderline diabetic, sticking to vegetable juices would be more beneficial for you. If you don’t like vegetables, then this is a great way for you to include them in your diet.
Be aware that drinking too many fruit juices can increase your calorie intake: one small juice could contain three or four whole fruits, so choosing vegetable juices is preferable.
When you juice fruit and vegetables you remove the fiber, which is necessary for a healthy diet, so it’s very important to replace the fiber with ingredients such as ground chia seeds or ground linseeds. Alternatively, you could use the pulp from the juicer to make soups or muffins, for example. Beet juices are amazing for consuming and help you fight various diseases.
